One Step Closer...

The broken hand is still preventing me from riding, and therefore there isn't much to blog about, but... the pins in my hand came out yesterday so I'm one step closer to riding again.  I figure I'll be back on the bike around Thanksgiving or so. Probably too late for regular polo games, but in time for snow and ice rides.  (Yay!)

The lack of riding and wrenching time is starting to get to me... although I have been thinking a lot about a couple new projects.  I even got a start on one of those projects... I gave this frame a rattlecan paint job in preparation to become a new errand/beater bike.  It will replace my old Trek road bike that's currently serving as my errand bike.  I'll finish building it up once my hand is well enough for real wrenching...

I haven't been out on a legitimate ride since August, but I have taken the bike down to watch polo a couple times.  It's fun to hang out and take pics, but I wish I could be out there playing.  Here are some pics from polo this fall...
